André Sozin comments on Igdisamov's challenges in command of CSKA
André Sozin discusses the lack of clarity in the goals of CSKA's new coach, Dmitry Igdisamov, and criticizes the club's choice.

Football expert André Sozin analyzed Dmitry Igdisamov's recent statement upon taking over as CSKA coach. He highlighted the club's attempt to convince fans that the new project will be lasting and that the choice of Igdisamov is in line with a grand strategy. However, Sozin raises questions about the coach's choice, stating that with the lack of options available in Europe and the limited experience of Russian coaches, CSKA ended up opting for Igdisamov as the best option.

Sozin also criticizes the composition of the technical committee that was assembled around Igdisamov, which includes professionals without major achievements. "CSKA, being an elite club in Russia, deserves a command that has experience in major competitions. We cannot forget that we are talking about a team that is among the best in the country", he highlighted.
He also questioned what Igdisamov's real goals are at the helm of CSKA: win a trophy, secure a place on the podium or just avoid relegation? For Sozin, this lack of definition is worrying and suggests that the club is in a complicated situation. He compared CSKA's situation with that of other clubs, where coaches have clear and defined objectives. "While at Zenit Semak had the mission to regain the title, at CSKA the lack of clarity in goals only creates uncertainty about the team's future", concluded Sozin during the conversation with a reporter from the portal.
