Barrow have completed the signing of defender Paul Kalambayi from Dagenham & Redbridge. The 26-year-old began his career at AFC Wimbledon, where he spent eight seasons and made 88 appearances in Leagues One and Two before joining Dagenham in June 2024. During his two-season spell, Kalambayi spent the first half of last season on loan at Kidderminster Harriers in the National League North, playing under Barrow manager Adam Murray. His loan ended before Kidderminster won promotion through the playoffs. "PK's style of play fits the way we want to play. He's a really physical, aggressive, ball-winning defender," said assistant coach Andy Taylor. “He’s already used to playing the way the gaffer wants him to, which I think is a big positive.” Kalambayi is the ninth new addition in this transfer window for the Bluebirds and is the second to have played for Kidderminster, following the arrival of defender George Walker. Forwards Alex Reid and Olly Crankshaw, full-backs Marcel Oakley and Danny Amos, as well as defenders Kennedy Digie and Xavier Benjamin and midfielder Isaac Marriott also joined the squad.
