Newport County have announced that Bobby Kamwa will leave the club this summer after failing to secure a new contract with the League Two side. The 26-year-old striker was one of Newport's heroes in their successful fight to avoid relegation to the National League, scoring three goals in the final two games of last season.
However, the Exiles report that Kamwa, whose contract at Rodney Parade expires this month, has decided to leave the club to pursue new opportunities, “after turning down an improved contract offer”.
