Cruzeiro already knows when he will return to the field
Cruzeiro resumed training at Toca da Raposa, preparing for the second half of the season with two friendly matches scheduled. The team is also undergoing player transfers and restructuring.

Cruzeiro has officially started its mid-season work at Toca da Raposa. After the vacation period and a round of physical exams, coach Artur Jorge has already led the first training sessions on the field, focusing on restructuring the team and recovering the rhythm of the game for the second half of the season. To satisfy fans' nostalgia and give the squad playing time, the club's board confirmed two friendly matches with the presence of fans: July 4: Cruzeiro x Defensor (URU) – Estádio Mineirão. July 12: Cruzeiro x Grêmio – Mané Garrincha Stadium (Brasília). Raposa's last official match was on May 31st, against Fluminense, in the Brazilian Championship. The period without games is being used to trim the squad and identify new reinforcements. Argentine full-back Gabriel Rojas was the main signing during the break. He arrives to fill the vacancy left by Kaiki and is already training with his new teammates. The board works with the coach to fill four positions considered fragile: a midfielder, a defender, a winger and a striker. The technical committee has already decided that some names will no longer be used and should seek new destinations: Kaiki, Walace, Japa, Kauã Prates and Bruno Alves.
