Alexey Zinin, the sporting director of FC Rodina, addressed the club's expectations in the RPL, highlighting that setting the goal of not being relegated is a lack of respect for the players. In an exclusive conversation, Zinin said: "Based on my experience, which includes achieving around 15 to 17 tournament objectives, I can say that we should not rush into grandiose announcements. Our plan and strategy for the debut season in the RPL is to give our players opportunities, allowing them to adapt to the league and build a foundation for growth in the coming years. Saying that we should not fall is disrespectful to the team. Imagine what it would be like to say that to the players?! On the other hand, it is also premature to ask a team to just moved up in the RPL and basically maintained the same formation as the FNL that fights for medals in the elite. Saying: 'We're going to be in the top ten'? But why not in the top twelve?
