Galliani: "Ramos is a good player, but you can't celebrate in the summer. Ibra? I like him"

Adriano Galliani talks about the current situation at AC Milan and shares his views on new signing Ramos and the importance of patience in football.

Galliani: "Ramos is a good player, but you can't celebrate in the summer. Ibra? I like him"

Adriano Galliani, who was present at the "United for Meyer" event in Forte dei Marmi, analyzed AC Milan's current situation. He declared himself a fervent fan of the club: "I've been a Rossoneri fan for years, I'm still an ultra-fan. Ramos is an important striker, we've been without one for a long time and he seems to have the right characteristics. However, I have 50 years of football behind me and I know that we shouldn't celebrate in the summer, but wait until spring. I've had moments when I thought I had made great signings and it didn't work out like that, and other times when I believed I had made a mistake and they ended up being great seasons."

When asked what advice he would give Malagò, he replied: "He's a long-time friend, and he's very competent. I would leave the hot potato in the hands of my friend Giovanni. I'd rather receive advice than give it, because it's usually no use."

Galliani also touched on the issue of the presence of foreign players in current football: "If they are from the community, European law prevents putting a brake on it. Maybe we should think of something that rewards those who bet on Italian players. The most positive thing about Malagò's presidency is that there seems to be a climate in favor of the national team, something that went unnoticed in the past. Criticism often falls on the president of the federation, like Gravina, but I don't agree with that."

Regarding the possibility of Maldini being technical director, he said: "As a Milan fan, how could I think? Ask the question and answer yourself."

He was also asked if he supports Brazil in the World Cup: "Yes, I was in Miami to see them play, I went to Vancouver and had dinner with Carlo Ancelotti. Also, my wife is Brazilian."

When talking about Ancelotti, Galliani stated: "He is an important Ancelotti. I'm sorry to say this, but, over the years, watching the Brazilian teams since 1958, the current one seems to me to have less talent available. In 2002, Brazil had three players who played for Milan: Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo."

Finally, he commented on Ibrahimovic, highlighting his admiration: "I like him. He was a great player. In 2010, I went to his house in Barcelona and said I wouldn't leave without him signing for Milan. His wife left and came back, and I was still there.
