Larne manager Gary Haveron has not hidden his pride in his players' efforts, even after the tough 4-0 defeat at home to Red Star Belgrade in the first match of the second qualifying phase of the Champions League. "I'm extremely proud," Haveron said in an interview with BBC Sport NI. "For long periods of the first half we managed to frustrate them and we were probably a little disappointed to go into half-time behind due to a penalty which I thought was a little soft. Our form was really good, the discipline was excellent and in the second half we got carried away and tried to chase the result a little too early. When you give space to a quality team like that, they can hurt, and that's what happened in a ten-minute period when they scored two goals and pretty much decided the game."
