Hornchurch sign ex-Southend striker Josh Walker
Hornchurch strengthens its squad with the signing of striker Josh Walker, who has worked with manager Daryl McMahon previously.
Hornchurch have announced the signing of striker Josh Walker following his departure from Southend. The 28-year-old scored 10 goals in 63 league appearances for the Shrimpers but was not offered a new contract at the end of last season. The move to the Urchins marks a reunion with coach Daryl McMahon, with whom he previously worked at Dagenham & Redbridge. "He brings experience, quality and is a great lad too," McMahon told the club's website. Hornchurch have not revealed the length of Walker's contract.
