Lazio prepares for defensive overhaul: Gattuso wants Dominguez and Martinez
Lazio are planning to revamp their defense, considering the departures of Alessio Romagnoli and Mario Gila, with interest in Sergi Dominguez and Arnau Martinez.

Lazio is beginning to plan the reconstruction of its defensive sector due to the possible departure of key players. Alessio Romagnoli is increasingly closer to Al-Sadd, while Mario Gila remains a target for Napoli, and his sale becomes increasingly likely due to the financial needs of the Biancoceleste club. Therefore, the team is already looking for new names to hand over to coach Gennaro Gattuso. One of the coach's main targets is Sergi Dominguez, a Spanish defender from Dinamo Zagreb, valued at between 10 and 15 million euros. Lazio's board also keeps the name of Girona's Arnau Martinez on its list. The Spanish defender had already been monitored in the January market, when the Spanish club's proposal was around 15 million euros. Currently, due to a clause activated after the fall of the Catalan team, the player's cost has dropped to around 8 million.
