Manchester City invests €964 million in transfers in the last three years
Manchester City stands out as one of the clubs that invests the most in transfers in world football, second only to Chelsea.

Manchester City has spared no effort when it comes to strengthening its squad. Over the last three years, the English club has invested an impressive £824 million, equivalent to €964 million, in signings. The latest addition to the squad was midfielder Elliot Anderson, who arrived from Nottingham Forest for £116 million (€136 million), thus becoming the most expensive English player in history.

According to information from Sky Sports, only Chelsea have spent more than City in the same period, with a total of £1 billion (€1.17 billion) in transfers since the summer of 2023. This amount puts Manchester City in a prominent position on the global football stage, cementing its reputation as one of the biggest spending clubs in the world.
