New Real defender Marc Cucurella sets big goal at club
Marc Cucurella, Real Madrid's new defender, expressed his desire to win the Champions League with the club.
Spanish defender Marc Cucurella, who recently transferred to Real Madrid, has revealed his ambitions at his new club. "I have a big dream. I really want to win the Champions League with Real Madrid and win this trophy," said Cucurella, according to insider Fabrizio Romano on social media. Cucurella's transfer from Chelsea was officially formalized on June 15, 2026. The defender signed a six-year contract, valid until June 2032. Cucurella was part of Barcelona's youth team from 2012 to 2020 and played for Chelsea from 2022 onwards. In 2024, he was European Cup champion with the Spanish national team.
