Aston Villa Martinez's price set at €10m, too high for Juventus
Juventus are hesitant to meet Aston Villa's request for €10 million plus bonuses for goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, who is interested in a move to Serie A despite the club's failure to qualify for the Champions League.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are not willing to pay Aston Villa's asking price for Emiliano Martinez, which is €10 million plus bonuses. The Bianconeri have identified the Argentine international as the ideal solution in goal after struggling with the consistency of Michele Di Gregorio and Mattia Perin this season.

The veteran is eager to experience Serie A football and is willing to join Juventus even if they failed to qualify for the Champions League. However, the problems lie with Aston Villa as Juve consider the asking price to be too high for a player who will turn 34 in September.
Sky Sport Italia transfer commentator Gianluca Di Marzio said tonight that the Premier League side's set fee is €10m plus bonuses. Juventus still want Martinez but are not willing to pay that much for 'Dibu' on top of his salary demands of €5 million per season, especially after missing out on Champions League revenue.
The Argentina international featured in the 2-0 World Cup victory over Austria today and joined Aston Villa in 2020 at a cost of €17.4m from Arsenal. He spent most of his career in England, apart from a loan spell at Getafe in Spain in 2017-18.
