Riccardo Calafiori is one of the most valued defenders in European football. In recent weeks, his name has also been associated with Real Madrid, which carried out some exploratory surveys to understand the situation of the Italian defender and evaluate possible margins for a future negotiation, even if the signings of Konaté and Cucurella – in addition to the 90 million euro offer for Ruben Dias – make this opportunity difficult in this transfer window.
Currently, Arsenal's position is quite clear. The Gunners have no intention of getting rid of the former Bologna player, seen as a central element of Mikel Arteta's technical project.
