Roma reject PSV offer for Salah-Eddine after loan
Roma have rejected a €7.5m bid from PSV Eindhoven for Anass Salah-Eddine, who is keen to stay at the club following his loan spell.

Roma have reportedly rejected an initial €7.5m bid from PSV Eindhoven to acquire Anass Salah-Eddine permanently as he could return to the club following his loan. The left-back was a significant signing, costing €8.5m when brought from FC Twente in February 2025, but has made little impact at the Olympic Stadium. After just a few months in the Italian capital, he was loaned to PSV Eindhoven, with an additional purchase option worth around €8 million. Salah-Eddine has made 25 competitive appearances this season, contributing one assist, and newspaper Il Messaggero, via Tuttomercatoweb, reported that PSV had offered €7.5 million to make the transfer permanent. However, the offer was considered insufficient by new sporting director Tony D’Amico. There are suggestions that the 24-year-old is keen to stay at Roma and win over coach Gian Piero Gasperini, especially after the Giallorossi qualify for the Champions League. He can play as a left-back or in a more advanced role as a left winger, and can also play as a midfielder. The Moroccan international is currently at the 2026 World Cup with his national team.
