Ahmat coach Cherchesov talks about the first training period

Coach Sтанислав Черчесов, heading the Ahmat team, analyzed the team's first period of preparation for the new summer season. He highlighted the quality of the location chosen for training, stating that UТБ "Novogorsk" is a very familiar place and that the conditions are excellent, with a wonderful field and ideal food.

"We met all the goals we had set for this first period of training. We held a training game, as we were planning, we just brought the match forward from the 18th to the 16th of June. We wanted to observe on the field the return of the player Tsake and the new signings Adamov and Maksuti, who I had given time off at the beginning of the preparation. I believe that this was a fair and objective decision. All of our athletes arrived without extra weight", stated Cherchesov.


He also mentioned that, compared to the first winter preparation period, there was a reduction of one training session due to medical examinations, but that the workload between the two periods does not differ by more than five percent. "In Turkey, we had winter, here we are facing heat, so everything is comparable. We completed all the activities planned in this first period; for some it was more difficult, for others not so much."

Cherchesov also commented on the young players who joined the team: "At the beginning of the summer training, we had a lot of young people with us. We were already testing these athletes throughout last season, but now the dynamics themselves forced us to call them up: eight players who were in the national teams until June 10th had time off and will join us in the second period of training in Serbia. The young people arrived in different conditions, it is clear that these loads are new for them, but at the end of the training cycle, everyone They adapted well."
