Dynamo Makhachkala coach Vadim Evseev took part in the traditional annual "Championat" voting, which awards the "Best Young Player of the RPL". This year, Evseev nominated five young talents who stood out in the competition.

In fifth place was Ivan Belikov, from Baltika. Rubin's Ilya Rozhkov secured fourth place, while CSKA's Kirill Glebov came third. The silver medal went to Matvey Kislyak, also from CSKA, and the big winner, elected as the best young player, was Alexey Batrakov, from Lokomotiv.

After the season concludes, coaches and team captains participate in this vote where they can nominate five young RPL players. The main criterion is that athletes must be at most 21 years old at the start of the season. Each coach and captain can only choose three players from their own club.

The points are distributed as follows: the player chosen first receives six points, the second, four points, the third, three, the fourth, two and the fifth, one point. The points obtained by the players are added together to determine the winner. Previously, the award was won by names such as Ghamid Agalarov (2021/2022), Sergey Pinyaev (2022/2023), Konstantin Tyukavin (2023/2024) and Alexey Batrakov (2024/2025).
