Therefore, as initially planned, tomorrow (Wednesday, July 1st) the signing of the five-year contract that will link Viery to the club until 2031 will take place. The signing - barring any delays - should take place in the morning. After that, the official announcement will be released by Fiorentina, as the final act of the deal. This concludes an operation strongly desired by sporting director Fabio Paratici: the Viola manager paid Grêmio a significant amount for the Brazilian born in 2005, totaling 17 million euros (15 million + 2 million bonuses). With this, Viery becomes the most expensive central defender in Fiorentina's history, joining new coach Fabio Grosso's defensive line.
