Thiago Silva is back at Fluminense. The 41-year-old defender has had four previous spells at the Rio club, but in the last six months he had a brief spell at FC Porto. Silva can now win his 34th title with the Tricolor team. The return was announced by Fluminense with an emotional video on social media, which reads: 'Some stories never have an end. The monster is back', accompanied by images of beautiful goals and memorable moments from the captain. Silva began his career in football in Fluminense's youth categories and has already played 186 matches for the club. His first move was in 2006, when he was loaned by Dynamo Moscow, and in 2007 he made the permanent transfer to the Russian club. In 2024, he left Chelsea to return to Fluminense, but took a break in Portugal, where he won the national title with FC Porto. Now, at 41 years old, the defender hopes to further increase his already vast collection of titles, which currently has 33 wins, 31 with clubs and two with the Brazilian national team. Among his achievements were seven French titles with Paris Saint-Germain and a Champions League with Chelsea.
