Franck Kessié claims he would be 'a great signing' for Juventus, especially now that he has become a free agent after leaving Al-Ahli. ‘My agent is taking care of it, we are receiving a lot of calls,’ said the midfielder. Kessié is no stranger to Italian football, having arrived at Atalanta's academy in 2015 and having spells at Cesena and Milan before joining Barcelona in 2022. Just a year later, he joined Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League, and his contract expires on June 30. Reports link the 29-year-old with a return to Italian football, with Juventus under Luciano Spalletti. During his participation in the 2026 World Cup with Côte d'Ivoire, Kessié spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport. ‘I saw the news about Juventus,’ said Kessié. ‘I’m just focused on the World Cup, but I’ll say one thing: I would be a great signing. I'm in good shape, playing in the World Cup and most of all I'm a free agent, so what more could you ask for?! That's why so many clubs are interested in me, and they're right! But for another five days, I'm still an Al-Ahli player. After the round of 16 stage, we will meet and I can tell you something more.’ Juventus and Atalanta have shown interest in the midfielder, who scored 41 goals and provided 16 assists in 204 Serie A appearances during his career. ‘My agent is handling it, we’re getting a lot of calls, and that’s to be expected. I would also hire myself under these conditions, both physically and financially!’ joked Kessié. The main problem is the salary, which would be €4-5 million per season, but still accepting a huge cut compared to his current salary, which is around €14 million per year at Al-Ahli.
