Midfielder Newton renews contract with Gateshead
Tyrelle Newton has extended his contract at Gateshead for a further year after making 55 appearances since arriving at the club.
Gateshead midfielder Tyrelle Newton has signed a new one-year contract with the National League club. The 22-year-old has made 55 appearances for Gateshead since arriving in August 2024. A graduate of Luton Town's academy, Newton played 40 times for Gateshead in his first season, but injury limited him to just 15 appearances last season. He joins fellow midfield players Lucas Lowery and defender Ben Williams, who also recently renewed their contracts.
