Beppe Bergomi discusses recent changes at AC Milan, emphasizing the need for innovation and the importance of player development, whilst criticizing the team's current performance.
Interviewed by _Milannews.it_ colleagues, Beppe Bergomi spoke about the changes that have taken place in the team in recent days: "When you don't achieve a goal, you certainly have to make choices, painful ones, but which, in my opinion, needed to be made. However, when we get to these situations, change should really give us the strength to innovate and change completely, and the history of Milan teaches us that. I have gray hair and I remember the times of Farina, then when Berlusconi arrived, who brought Sacchi, there was an innovation. Of course, today bringing something different to a football with so much knowledge is more difficult, but it's an opportunity for Milan to start over."
Continuing about the team, he stated: "In my opinion, Milan this year, I don't want to offend Allegri and the Milan fans, played a little with the brakes on.
