How Women says goodbye to Mauro Ferrara: contract ended and official departure on July 1st

Como Women is preparing for an administrative overhaul next season and, therefore, announced the goodbye of manager Mauro Ferrara, who led the club for two intense seasons. The name of his successor has not yet been released, but news should emerge in the coming days. Until the end of this month, Ferrara will continue to perform his duties and support the club in operational areas, ensuring organizational continuity during the transition period.


The club's official statement said: "F.C. Como Women announces that it has reached an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract with Chief Operating Officer Mauro Ferrara, who will officially leave his position as of July 1, 2026. Until June 30, Ferrara will continue carrying out his activities normally and supporting the club in the areas of his competence, ensuring organizational continuity during this transition phase. The club thanks Mauro for his professionalism and contribution during these two seasons to Como Women, wishing you success in your future professional and personal projects."
