Nicolò Zaniolo's future at Udinese is still undefined. The Italian club and the player have not yet reached an economic agreement for a new contract. The striker's agent, Claudio Vigorelli, commented on the situation in an interview with Sky Sport: "The promise to sit at the table to seek a new contract negotiation was born, as I already mentioned, last season. The contract was signed in the last minutes of the transfer window and there was not enough time to discuss the terms of the salary in the event of a purchase. Both before and after the acquisition of Udinese from Galatasaray, we held negotiations, which, at the moment, do not have a consensus between the parties", explained the prosecutor. Vigorelli also denied rumors that Zaniolo had requested a salary equivalent to what he received at Galatasaray: "This is absolutely false. We have not found an agreement, but we are negotiating terms that are closer to the reality at Udinese, but which also reflect Nicolò's technical value." Finally, the agent did not rule out the possibility of an exit if there is no agreement: "A solution could emerge at any time, but in the current conditions it is impossible to think about remaining where there is no agreement that satisfies both parties. The market is long and we will see what opportunities will arise beyond Udinese."
