Tony D'Amico has been officially named sporting director at Roma, reuniting him again with Gian Piero Gasperini, with whom he enjoyed success at Atalanta.

Roma have just announced the appointment of Tony D’Amico as the club’s new sporting director, thus making the reconnection with Gian Piero Gasperini official. The statement was made recently, informing that D’Amico, who previously worked at Atalanta, will formally take over in the new season. For the remainder of the 2025/2026 season, sports management will be under the interim care of Maurizio Lombardo. D’Amico and Gasperini have a history of success together, having won the 2023/2024 Europa League with Atalanta, a historic feat for the club.
