Lotito tries to talk to fans, but Lazio clubs respond: "It's too late"

The relationship between Lazio fans and president Claudio Lotito is deteriorating further. Following a letter sent by Lotito to fans, several official responses from Lazio clubs around the world were published, all unanimously and harshly against the content of the president's message. Lazio Club New York was one of the most incisive, expressing "stupor and disgust" at what was written and accusing Lotito of not understanding the depth of the rupture with the fans. In the statement, the lack of desire for dialogue with a management that is seen as responsible for damaging the club's image in recent years was clear.
In the same vein, Lazio Club Miami reaffirmed its separation from the current administration, recalling that a request for official affiliation was made in November 2024, but was denied with a response considered superficial. Therefore, they decided to include the expression "Unaffiliated" in their name until there is a change of ownership. Lazio Club Monaco also rejected the recognition proposal made in Lotito's letter. Fans highlighted that the idea of an official network of Biancoceleste clubs abroad had been proposed years ago, but was never implemented, considering the current opening as "opportunistic and hypocritical".
The statement ends with a clear appeal: "Liberate Lazio". Lazio Club Paris also issued criticism, acknowledging the importance of Lotito's words but emphasizing that for years requests from foreign clubs had been ignored. "Now it's too late", they say, asking the board to move from words to actions. Meanwhile, clubs abroad guarantee that they will continue to support Lazio and defend their identity and tradition, while maintaining a firm stance against the club's current management.
