Manchester City is close to announcing Enzo Maresca as new coach

Manchester City are very close to announcing Enzo Maresca as their new manager, succeeding Pep Guardiola on a three-year deal. Negotiations over compensation with Chelsea, Maresca's former club, are advanced, with amounts exceeding £10 million. A month after Guardiola announced his departure from City, sources have told BBC Sport that a deal to sign the 46-year-old is close to being finalised.
