Pisacane's secret at Cagliari: "I talk a lot with the players, I had more than 400 meetings"
Fabio Pisacane, Cagliari coach, talks about his experience in the professional season and the importance of communication with the players.
Fabio Pisacane, Cagliari's coach, opened up about his season in Sardegna - his first as a professional coach - in an interview with Fatto Quotidiano. He highlighted the importance of communicating with the players, stating: "The first thing I did was convince them to maintain a vertical posture. This means being firm in adversity, without letting yourself get discouraged when matches don't go well. I talk a lot with my players: I've had more than 400 meetings, 227 of them individually. They are from generation zero, used to the digital era and not so used to face-to-face conversation."

Pisacane also commented on the last match of the season, which cost Milan their place in the Champions League, and revealed: "That was not just a victory, but a declaration of probity, integrity and dedication. With that game, I became a coach in my own right and in my own right. I've been in Cagliari for 11 years and, every day, I discover a little more about the beauty of the island."
In a personal moment, he shared details about the health of his father, who had Guillain-Barré syndrome, and how this experience shaped his view of what happiness really is: "It's not the money, the career or the success that matter, but the life that I've recovered and that allows me to do what I love."
