Roma reject Betis offer for Dovbyk; Spaniards were looking for a loan
Roma have rejected a proposal from Betis to loan Artem Dovbyk, deemed unsuitable for the club's needs.

Roma have decided not to accept Real Betis' offer to loan Artem Dovbyk, who is not in the Italian club's plans. According to information from El Gol Digital, a proposal had already reached the hands of sporting director Tony D'Amico, offering a loan with purchase rights set at R$15 million. However, the formula and value were considered insufficient, especially as the loan would not allow the club to record a net profit needed to balance the books by 30 June. Dovbyk arrived at the club in the 2024 season for 41.1 million euros, and his residual value is currently 24.66 million, with a contract until 2029.
