Tottenham confirms the signing of midfielder Victoria Pelova, ex-Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur announced the signing of Dutch national team midfielder Victoria Pelova, who was at Arsenal. She joined the club on a free contract and has already expressed her excitement about the new phase of her career.
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Netherlands international midfielder Victoria Pelova following her departure from Arsenal. The 27-year-old joins the club on a free transfer, having spent three years with Women's Super League rivals Tottenham. Pelova was part of the squad that helped Arsenal win the Women's Champions League in 2025 and has also won two League Cup titles and the Champions Cup with the Gunners. After recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury last year, Pelova made 30 appearances in all competitions in his final season at Arsenal. On the international stage, Pelova has already made 71 appearances for the Dutch national team and participated in the last four major tournaments. "It's good to be here, I got a wonderful reception from everyone. When I had conversations with [coach] Martin Ho, he was excellent. He immediately felt right going to Spurs," said Pelova. “I can’t wait for the season, and I’m so happy to be here.”
